Beyond using organic, reused and recycled materials, designers of the collection have:

• initiated day care, dental and health care programs, an insurance plan and micro loans to a women's cooperative in Bolivia.
• provided food, shelter, education and meaningful employment to deaf, mute and poor women in India and meaningful employment to adults with disabilities in the Netherlands.

enfant terrible shares pieces of the collection each season with its local community, by way of donation of the basics and essentials lines to a program providing comprehensive pre and postnatal health and social care to women and their young children affected by substance use.

enfant terrible treads as lightly as possible on the environment with a hosting solution powered by renewable energy, and uses only reused and recycled packaging:

• the printed matter is made by a printing company named Canada's Most Environmentally Progressive Printer through the Environmental Printing Awards, that contributes to its local community by offering space on existing print runs to not-for-profit organizations focusing on the areas of children, public health and the environment.
• the paper for all printed matter is made of 100% post-consumer recycled waste and is made by a paper mill powered by 100% renewable energy in a carbon neutral manufacturing process.
• the ink for all letterpress and printing is 100% vegetable-based and is biodegradable.
• the boxes which might be used are reused packing boxes already at hand and packing boxes made of 90% post-consumer recycled waste.
• the transparency film which might be used to protect postage stamps is made of 50% post-consumer recycled waste and is water-based and solvent free.
• the tissue paper is made of 90% post-consumer recycled waste and the twine wrapping the packages is responsibly made in Thailand.

You may amend or cancel your order before it is posted by contacting enfant terrible in writing within two hours of placing your order.
