Bruno Munari has played with traditional fairy tales and widened their horizons, creating new characters and a new history. Munari's 'Little Riding Hoods' come back now as singular books, according to the original project.

Children all over the world know the story of Little Red Riding Hood. A wolf in a car has designs on Little Yellow Riding Hood, but she has agreed on a plan with her friends the canaries...

Everybody knows who is Little Red Riding Hood, but perhaps nobody knows the story of Little Green Riding Hood, Little Yellow Riding Hood and Little White Riding Hood, sent by their mother to take to their grandmother a basket full of things that are green, yellow and white. The black wolf is waiting for them in the wood, in the traffic jam, in the snow...will it manage to capture them? In these tales the main character is 'colour', in drawings, in text and in characters.
